Symantec Mobile Security 4.3 for Symbian protects Symbian OS Version 9.x Series 60 and UIQ smartphones from malicious threats and network intrusions. Centralized management enables administrators to configure, lock, and enforce security policies remotely or locally.

Symantec Mobile Security for Symbian provides integrated antivirus and firewall technologies to proactively protect Symbian OS Series 60 and UIQ supported smartphones against file-based forms of malicious threats, such as viruses, Trojan horses, and worms. Real-time automatic and on-demand virus scan capabilities safeguard files that are stored on the smartphone’s file system, while the firewall uses protocol and port filtering to protect applications and data being transmitted. Centralized management via third-party mobile device management enables administrators to configure, lock, and enforce security policies either remotely or locally, while automatic wireless security and application updates keep on-device protection current.
